Event description

Description

How does your organization know which stakeholders you should be communicating with for your funding needs, social impact, service or product delivery? How do you find partnerships that lead to sustainable impact and long-term relationships? And how do you and your staff find the time, energy and resources to achieve the outcomes that you want?

Developing a solid strategy for growth is essential in today’s non-profit landscape. In order to be successful in meeting their mandates, organizations in the non-profit sector increasingly draw inspiration from the business world.

So what could this look like for your organization?

In this interactive workshop you will learn some of the tools used in the business sector that translate to your non-profit organization.

  • Where can you find the best ‘opportunities’?
  • How do you segment the market in order to best manage your efforts?
  • Is everyone a good prospect?

Attendees will learn the following:

  1. The ability to find and use (research) demographic, psychographic and firmographic information to their advantage
  2. Determine where are the best opportunities and manage their time and resources accordingly
  3. Create a template and have the ability to create a 12-month action plan that guides activity and can be easily sustained
