Reaching Out Through Music Benefit Concert and Auction
Sat, 15 October 2016, 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM EDT
Reaching Out Through Music provides musical opportunities for children in the vibrant and ethnically diverse community of St. James Town in downtown Toronto. Music enriches children's lives in many ways and Reaching Out Through Music provides a program that broadens horizons, develops self-confidence and provides an appreciation of cultural diversity, to name just as few of the benefits.
Our important work is made possible by donor support and that support comes in many forms from volunteering to work with the children, buying tickets for this event for yourself, for friends or for children and parents in our program who would like to come to the event but cannot afford to pay for a ticket to what is sure to be a sold out event. A donation of $40 will buy a ticket for one parent, but any amount will help.
The event includes a Dutch auction in which you can buy a ticket to deposit in a draw for the particular item and a silent auction which includes tickets to a Toronto Raptors game and a week at a cottage on Lake Kashagawigamog in Haliburton.
More information about this event and the program we deliver can be found on our website www.reachingoutthroughmusic.org
