Re:Address Summit

You are invited to the Re:Address Summit, hosted by the City of Vancouver, on October 27th at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The Re:Address Summit will bring together 500 international and locally renowned speakers, thought leaders and multi-sector partners to tackle the toughest housing challenges and issues we face today. The first 250 ticket holders will be given early bird access to attend the official delegate welcome ceremony and opening reception of the Re:Address Summit, on October 26th at the Vancouver Museum of Anthropology.

THE CHALLENGE

Vancouver is among a network of cities around the world such as New York, London, San Francisco and Sydney that have become increasingly desirable places to live. Dynamic economies, innovation, and cultural diversity all contribute to the characteristics of a livable city. However, with the rapid commodification of housing, city residents are experiencing unprecedented limitations in accessing the private housing market. The recent trends in housing markets are not sustainable. This is an urgent issue affecting Vancouver’s present and future generations.
