David Hartley has trained over 19,000 nonprofit and charity leaders in over 130 Canadian cities and towns over the past 9 years. He has assisted hundreds of organizations of every type and size.
David spent his professional life until the age of 40 in the world of risk and insurance, including over 7 years training insurance brokers, primarily for Co-operators and Aviva, two of Canada’s largest insurers. David then directed the Insurance & Liability Resource Centre for Nonprofits for 5 years, a project of the national charity Imagine Canada. He then continued full-time as a consultant assisting nonprofits and charities of all sizes across Canada and continues to do this today.
David carries the Canadian Risk Management (C.R.M.) designation from the University of Toronto. He also is certified to train John Maxwell’s leadership material (founding member of John’s training team).
He is a very proud husband and daddy to 4 wonderful children.
