A weekend intensive workshop for people who want to master the 'how-to's' of successful real estate investing.

Friday: 6:30p-9:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-5:00pm

The most important thing we've learned from investing over the past 13 years is that it is ALWAYS worth it to invest your time and resources at the beginning of the property acquisition process.

We could have saved ourselves a ton of stress (financially and emotionally) if we had invested our time and money into being properly educated before we started investing.

This workshop is designed for people who want to become an EXPERT in real estate investing. We are taking you step by step through EVERY STAGE of investment process—from sourcing it to signing it.

Friday’s keynote speaker Robert McLeod is a local real estate investing success story. He's dishing on his biggest mistakes, successes, lessons learned about the Edmonton market, and what he wishes he knew when he started out.

He bought his first property at 17 and hit the 100 property mark at age 29. Robert runs a real estate sales and property management brokerage and has built his career on his deep knowledge of the Edmonton market and knack for negotiating the best deals.

  • The secret to a successful negotiating strategy is making sure it's a WIN for YOU (the buyer) AND the seller

  • We're teaching you the best negotiation strategies for lowering the list price of your investment property — we'll role-play these negotiation techniques until they're perfect

  • Most people overlook the importance of writing an offer WELL in actually getting the property

  • We're also covering a conditional versus unconditional offer and when you should use each one to get the property you want


4. HOW TO USE A JOINT VENTURE TO RAISE YOUR INVESTMENT CAPITAL

  • JV's are an EXTREMELY hot topic in real estate right now because they allow you to raise the investment capital you need externally with someone else's money (meaning you don't have to empty your savings account to purchase properties)

  • We'll explore the possibilities for you to enter into a JV partnership in Edmonton, and how this process will work, from start to finish

  • You'll leave our workshop with concrete next steps to take in the JV process


5. ROLE-PLAYING + OPEN Q & A

  • Our workshops are always based on hands-on practice of the real-life scenarios that you will inevitably encounter as you invest in real estate. There's no point in us giving you information if we don't also teach you how to use it in the real world.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Jared and his wife Krista have built their portfolio of investment properties to over 285 in Alberta since 2003.
