Event description

Description

Please join the Edmonton Heritage Council for the first Members Conversation of 2017, "Reconciliation in the Heritage Community." Explore concepts of reconciliation in this interactive workshop suitable for all staffs, boards, and community members connecting people with the stories of our city.

The Edmonton Heritage Council has adopted 23 responses to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada that directly relate to EHC's work in Edmonton heritage. This workshop will help members of the heritage community better understand the meaning of reconciliation and how it can be incorporated into heritage work and everyday life, while building a dialogue of reconciliation amongst Edmonton’s heritage community.

All EHC members and the general public are welcome. At Member Conversations, Edmontonians are invited to network and connect with EHC staff and Directors for conversations about the city's heritage.

Light snacks and beverages will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
