So what are you up to out on the weekend. On August 11th, Rain City Chronicles is back and teaming up with Here There for our sophomoric Record Club featuring one of our favourite albums of all time, Neil Young's Harvest.
Hosted by Kevin Chong (author of Neil Young Nation, My Year of the Race Horse) and our very own Lizzy Karp, The Record Club is a storytelling night that hits repeat on some of the best personal stories inspired by Neil Young, told live. From tales of being a Canadian in America, rebellious outsiders and the romance of the heartland, Harvest has been the soundtrack to our most adventurous road trips. We’re revisiting some of our favourite true stories inspired by one of our favourite estranged Canadians.
If you're a long time fan of Rain City Chronicles, the format will be familiar. The night kicks off with a listening party of the album followed by an evening of stories with a musical guest.
