ReelAbilities Toronto presents Opening Night at the Barns

Join us to celebrate the launch of the 2nd Annual ReelAbiliites Toronto Film Festival, a film festival dedicated to telling the stories of persons with disabilities and deafness through film.
Proceeds from Opening Night will support our presenter, the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre, a community hub at Bloor and Spadina that provides opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to be active, learn, connect and participate in diverse recreational, cultural and educational programming.
The night kicks off with a cocktail reception at Artscape Wychwood Barns, at 7:00pm, with honoured guests and members of local films in attendance. RAFFTO is delighted to welcome Alexandre Peralta (Director, Looking at the Stars) to Toronto for this event. Alexandre will be available for a Q&A following feature a screening of Looking at the Stars.
Looking at the Stars is a Brazilian documentary following the experiences of students at the Fernanda Bianchini Ballet Association for the Blind. This film has been rated PG by the Ontario Film Authority (2017).
Tickets to Opening Night provide access to the opening night party and opening night screening.
