Event description

Description

KPU Surrey, Fir 128, 1:00 to 3:30.

This panel discussion will be looking at the city of Surrey and the residents that live in it. Those who seek refuge and live their lives - are they getting the tools they need to thrive? Are resources in Surrey accessible? With the emphasis on negative stereotypes that exist, how can we work together to create a harmonious relationship with our neighbours to battle micro aggressions against one another? This in-depth analysis will tackle these sensitive areas and will help build upon solutions to common problematic areas in our community. This panel, in other words, is a community action forum that encourages not only students at KPU to attend, but the public, too.

Thank you to the City of Surrey for providing funding for this event.

This event is open and free for everybody to attend.

The venue is wheelchair accessible.
