Description

KEYS Volunteer Services is offering a free workshops to improve your intercultural intelligence. Designed specifically for our Refugee Resettlement Volunteers, this fun, interesting and interactive workshop will not only give you information to immediately increase your intercultural knowledge, but leave you with new tools and skills to support you in volunteer role, and to help you build intercultural connections in your workplace and your community.

Through drawing on your experiences and looking at local case studies and campaigns, this workshop will include:

  • How culture shapes our actions, beliefs, communication, and relationships with others

  • Developing attitudes, knowledge and skills to build your own intercultural understanding

  • Inspiring you to become an intercultural ambassador

Food and drinks provided, with a break half-way through

Please contact us with any dietary restrictions or accessibility needs. The workshops will be delivered in English, in a wheelchair accessible space with metered street parking and parking lots nearby.

This workshop is presented by KEYS Newcomers Empowering Business. It is part of a new Intercultural Intelligence Toolkit being designed and delivered by newcomers intercultural mentors to help local workplaces improve their intercultural intelligence.
