Event description

Description

What should the future of food in Northwestern Ontario look like? The development of a regional food charter would help to shape that picture! A regional food charter can help to highlight collective goals of the municipalities and communities within a region. This charter can lead to a regional collaboration in identifying strategies to address the issues regarding local food production and security.

Is hunting or fishing important to you? What about food costs? Local agriculture? Healthy food? Make sure your voice is heard. Community members, organizations, schools, medical professionals, farmers, business owners and anyone with a vision for how food plays a roll in their community should attend these sessions to provide their input to help to shape the vision of the food charter.

More information on the food charter project can be found on our website here.

Tickets detail dates, times, and locations of input sessions in your community. Registration for the event is free and appreciated so that we can track interest and ensure we've secured a large enough space for attendees.
