In order to secure your place (space is limited to 25 participants), please complete the following:

SMART (Stress Management & Resiliency Techniques) involves experiential activities in mindfulness including: meditation, emotional awareness and movement. Weekly meetings also include presentations and group discussions.
The SMART class is strictly educational and does not constitute any form of clinical treatment or medical advice. It should not be used as a substitute for medical diagnosis, advice or service.
Who should attend?
This program is suitable for staff— educators, teachers, guidance counselors, administrators, teacher’s assistants, and professional support workers or individuals interested in the professional applications of mindfulness.
The 20 hour program, is delivered in a workshop setting, and consists of 8 two-hour sessions and a 4-hour silent retreat.
Certificate of Completion: Successful participants receive a certificate of completion from UBC Faculty of Education.
