About this event
If you're a developer, planning a site upgrade, or are responsible for the movement of soils in British Columbia, you should be aware of the upcoming amendments to the Contaminated Sites Regulations that will come into effect on March 2023. Among the changes, this amendment significantly alters the requirements around soil movement and imposes significant new requirements related to notifications prior to relocating soil, and monitoring and reporting requirements for receivers of specified soils. In addition to the above, other modifications to the regulations that can affect properties have been made.
The session will help attendees understand the upcoming changes, determine if or how the changes may affect their existing portfolios, and how you can properly prepare for these changes.
