Event description

Description

Through this highly interactive workshop, participants will gain a greater understanding of mentorship in today's coaching world - and in our own coaching community. Join ICF Vancouver Island Past Presidents Tracy and Sarah for a thoughtful exploration, group discussions, theory bursts, creative visuals, personal journalling, a curiosity wall, reflection and ultimately the development of a Personal Mentor Map for 2020.

Intended for all coaches, from those who are new through to MCCs, this workshop is an opportunity to explore how we can all benefit from both the giving and receiving of mentoring expertise across the breadth of skills and expertise we require to be successful coaches.

Objectives:

  1. To Discover: "What is mentorship" and "What do I need/desire from a mentoring experience?"
  2. To Dream: A clear personal vision of what a successful mentoring experience could look like
  3. To Design: A map for your mentorship experience in 2020
  4. To Deliver: grounded commitment to follow your mentorship map (the delivery of the plan is up to each individual following this workshop)

Tracy and Sarah will deliver the workshops in Victoria and Nanaimo to offer coaches up and down the Island an opportunity to participate. The format and content of the two dates will be the same. Participants can choose which of the two options is most convenient:

Victoria - Saturday 26th October from 9-12noon, BDO - Suite 500, 1803 Douglas Street, Victoria, BC

Nanaimo - Saturday 2nd November from 1-4pm, Country Grocer, 2nd Floor Community Room, 1800 Dufferin Crescent.

CCEs - Participants will receive 3 resource development CCES for attending this workshop.
