Description

Reinventing your Business Model: One secret to maintaining a thriving business is recognizing when it needs a fundamental change.

The IMD Alumni Club of Canada (“IMD”) in cooperation with the Swiss-Canadian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (“SCCC”) and the International University Clubs of Toronto (“IUCT”) invite you to join us for a for an informative and interesting learning event featuring Marco Meyrat, Member of the Executive Board, Hilti Corporation.

Mr. Meyrat (Swiss born) has been a Member of the Executive Board since the beginning of 2005. He is responsible for the markets in Europe and North America. With a business degree from the University of St. Gallen, he began his career in 1989 as Product Manager at Hilti Headquarters in Schaan. After holding various positions in Hilti France and Hilti Germany, he was named Head of Hilti Switzerland in 1999 and was subsequently appointed General Manager of Hilti Germany in 2002. Mr. Meyrat is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OLMeRO AG, Glattbrugg.

Mr. Meyrat will discuss how Hilti, a Lichtenstein-based manufacturer of high end construction tools and fasteners for the construction industry, is capitalizing on a game changing opportunity to increase customer engagement by turning its product into a service. He will explain how the fleet management program allowed the company to continue to differentiate itself from its competitors, and how adopting the business model, building the internal processes and sales force competency build up allowed for this change to be successfully implemented.

There will be time for networking and refreshments will be served.
