About this event
Join with thegreenrock/Guide to the Good, Junior Forest Wardens, students of Gonzaga High School, and friends in the community in the planting of 2866 seedlings on Remembrance Day 2022. The plant is in memory of those who have passed, and in honour of all who serve in the name of peace.
We're delighted this year to have Emma Walsh, official guide at Beaumont Hamel and Vimy , France as our special guest. Emma will share moments of her experience from the summer of 2022.
The event will start with a moment of Reflection and planting demonstration. Teams will plant flats of seedlings (white spruce, black spruce, pine) in the designated area. We'll make a video of the happenings!
