The University Teaching Foundations certificate consists of a series of workshops and microteaching sessions to provide graduate students a basic foundation for success in the classroom as a teaching assistant, as well as gain transferable skills for use in future employment opportunities.

This is the intensive offering of the certificate in which the five required workshops and two required microteaching sessions are offered. This will be offered remotely through Zoom. 

Mandatory workshop sessions are scheduled on:

• January 2110:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., and
• January 22 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Participants must also complete two remote microteaching sessions which will be offered on:

• January 25
• January 26
• January 28
