RENT - SCHOOL EDITION - SYNOPSIS

Jonathan Larson’s beloved musical, Rent, follows the ups and downs of a year in the life of a group of impoverished, artistic friends living in Manhattan’s East Village. Mark, an aspiring filmmaker, struggles to find his place in the world; his roommate Roger, an HIV-positive musician, wonders how he will leave his mark before he dies. Mimi and Angel look for true love as they face the harsh reality of life as HIV-positive young people, while the businesslike Joanne seeks commitment from her wild-child performance artist girlfriend Maureen. At its heart, Rent is a story about people coming together to support each other in the worst of times, creating a community that has each other’s backs, and about people seeing the beauty in each other and accepting and celebrating them for who they are.

Are tickets available at the door?

Tickets will only be available at the door if there is still capacity - if the show is SOLD OUT, no tickets are available at the door.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Yes, parking is available at the school.

What's the refund policy?

Tickets are non-refundable; however, you may be able to choose another performance date if there is still spots available.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

The video or audio recording of this performance by any means is strictly prohibited. Professional production photography will be shared with performers and families 2 weeks after closing. Please respect our student’s privacy by not taking video or photography during the performance.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Pricing and Payment: Pricing is in Canadian Dollars. Pay online by Visa/MasterCard, Visa Debit or Paypal. An online convenience fee will be added to the posted price.

Ticket Purchase Deadline: Online ticket sales will close 2 hours prior to each performance. If the show or event is sold out, tickets will not be sold at the door. Purchase early to avoid disappointment.

Seating Policy: Festival Seating for all performances - no assigned seating. Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the performance, after which we reserve the right to make your seats available to other patrons.
