Event description

Description

Lost an earring and not sure what to do with the one left over? Or have a broken necklace just sitting in your jewelry box? In this workshop, Hawkly will teach you the basic wire working techniques that can be used to create a variety of necklaces, bracelets and earrings and potentially repair or incorporate your pieces into something wearable again!

In this class you will learn:

•introduction to tools, findings and other materials used in wire working

•how to make simple loops, beaded links and wrapped loops

•how to connect wrapped links

•how to create a one of a kind necklace and pair of earrings

It is not mandatory to bring your own jewelry to be repurposed, there will be lots of materials to create a finished piece. However, if you do have jewelry that can be re-worked, bring it along and we will figure out fun and creative ways to incorporate it into your piece or make it wearable again.

* Class fee includes materials to create one finished necklace and one finished pair of earrings. In addition, there will be a selection of gemstones and other materials that will be available for purchase.
