Reserve Fund Responsibilities - Canadian Condominium Institute Luncheon
Thursday, 23 March 2017 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (MDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Condo Boards have more responsibilities than simply getting a Reserve Fund Study report produced by their provider of choice every 5 years. What exactly is a Reserve Fund Plan that the Board must approve to ensure sufficient funds will be available to repair and replace as required? What methods are being used to raise the funds needed and what happens when priorities change over the 5 year period? What criteria does the Board need to consider when determining whether an expense can be paid through the Reserve Fund or not? We will also discuss the requirements of the Reserve Fund Annual Report and best practices for keeping your ownership up to date on Reserve Fund matters.
Luncheons will include a light meal, networking, 30-40 minute presentation, and question time.
Pre registration is required. Limited seating!
