Come anytime from 10am - 10pm Tuesday to Sunday to our tech-free coworking pilot program for those interested in new approaches to work.

About this event

RESET'S TECH FREE COWORKING AND COMMUNITY CENTRE is for individuals and organizations looking to explore deep, creative and collaborative work.

Who's it for:

A tech-free coworking centre is ideal for individuals or teams who are open to exploring new containers for work that stimulate creativity, connection and community. Our dominant culture of work is so broken and optimizes for burnout. Reset envisions a work culture where there are no phones, computers or other personal devices. We believe this can result in us feeling flow, experiencing joy and just playing.

How it works:

Purchase a day pass and show up anytime that day between 10AM - 10PM. Upon Arrival, you'll be provided with keys to your own locker for your tech and anything else you want to stash away. Once you're free from you device, you're welcome to enter the space, enjoy unlimited tea/coffee and explore our multiple zones designed to optimize your creative self.

What it costs:

We operate on a sliding scale (see guide below) but if price is a barrier, email us at hello@thisisreset.org and we'll provide space.

Logistics

You are provided with a personal locker and lock to store your belongings, phone and shoes. Free tea is provided and there are water stations on site. Reset does not provide any food, you are welcome to bring your own into the space. The Centre is shoe free so remember to bring some socks if you'd rather not be barefoot!

Accessibility

The main floor is accessible for those who use mobility devices, however we do not have automated doors or an accessible bathroom. There is a basement, which is not physically accessible.

Land Acknowledgment

The Centre is located on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and we recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and the Inuit peoples.

Inclusion Statement

Reset strives to be an inclusive space and we believe that collective joy requires justice. This means some of the factors we have considered when creating this experience include collective liberation, safety, care, identities, Indigenous sovereignty and self determination, ecology, equity, power, inclusion, physical accessibility, financial accessibility, ancestry, climate, introversion, extraversion, trauma, all the -isms and some parts of the neurodivergent spectrum. We are not experts in any of these realms and are always open to learning how we can better cultivate a space and culture that fosters a sense of welcome and belonging. Please reach out with your feedback on this or anything else shared above.
