Resiliency and Connection in Eating Disorder Recovery
Event Information
About this Event
The challenges that this past year have brought may have made it difficult for some of us to rely on our go-to strategies for coping and healing. But, you are not alone and you have the capacity to bounce back and maintain your path to recovery from your eating disorder. Join Tierra (MPH, RYT, Coach) and Michelle (Under the Lilac Tree founder and program director) to conclude Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) with an event designed to draw forth the skills that already reside within you to support your recovery, wherever you are at in your journey.
Drawing on lived experience and professional knowledge, Tierra and Michelle will guide you through a thoughtfully crafted agenda of reflection, relaxation and discussion. Together, with you, we will explore elements of self-compassion, community/belonging and safety that are instrumental in ED recovery. You will come away from our time together with a renewed sense of resiliency in your ability to navigate recovery and ultimately heal.
*This event is meant for those individuals in recovery and/or directly impacted by eating disorders.
Sliding scale available upon request. Please email michelle@underthelilactree.ca to determine an alternative rate.
