Description

At Larimer Connects, we believe a community that knows their neighbors and works collaboratively is one that not only thrives, but is ready for anything that may come that may try to knock us off course in moving toward a progressive future. This program seeks to build resilience, or the ability for individuals and communities to be better able to respond and recover from unexpected disruptions, in Larimer County communities through sewing together the pieces that make the social fabric of our community.

This is Session 1 in our Resilient Communities are Connected Communites Workshop. In this session, you will learn "How to Prepare for Anything," instructed by Aaron Titus from Larimer County Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster. Resilience begins with you, as an individual. When you are ready, you are better able to serve your community in the face of adversity. This course focuses on preparinng for smaller disruptions, and by creating plans for these, you are significantly better prepared for much worse situations!

We welcome people with disabilities. For questions about accessibility or to request an accommodation, please contact Shayle Nelson at (208) 940-2387 or nelsonst@co.larimer.co.us
