Event description

Description

At Larimer Connects, we believe a community that knows their neighbors and works collaboratively is one that not only thrives, but is ready for anything that may come that may try to knock us off course in moving toward a progressive future. This program seeks to build resilience, or the ability for individuals and communities to be better able to respond and recover from unexpected disruptions, in Larimer County communities through sewing together the pieces that make the social fabric of our community.

In our final session of the Resilient Communities are Connected Communities Workshop Series, everything finally comes full circle! We will begin by reviewing what was learned in the first two sessions followed by the presentation of a menu of ideas and educational information to jumpstart participants' thinking on actionable ways to work together to build resilience in their communities. The final part of the session will be dedicated to allowing participants to network, connect, discuss, and develop an action plan to move forward in the community. If you have been wondering what you can do as a citizen to help build a more resilient future for the community you love and care about, you will not want to miss this session!

We welcome people with additional needs. For questions about accessibility or to request an accommodation, please contact Shayle Nelson at (208) 940-2387 or nelsonst@co.larimer.co.us
