Heidi Loeppky
As VP of People and Culture of Gia Media Inc., Heidi is a speaker, business consultant and a big thinker. "Limitation" is not in her vocabulary and she guides leaders towards the questions that will catapult their thinking to new levels. Her unique perspective is a concoction of 1 part international tax planner (she was a CPA in previous life), combined with festival producer, business consultant, and mindfulness teacher. She facilitates and inspires wherever creative minds meet – from Hawaii, to India, and Edmonton. She is passionate about mentoring and building teams and growing communities of all types.

Jeffrey Hansen-Carlson
Director of Business Development at EllisDon, Jeffrey began his career in the industry in Vancouver after completing his MBA at Edinburgh in the UK. He is passionate about the power of events bringing people together. He founded NAIOP Edmonton, The Edmonton Project, and is chairperson of the Prairie Sky Gondola. He is the chairperson of the Boyle Street Ventures Inc. advisory board, a member of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce Municipal Affairs Committee, and the founder of BandJam in support of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women. As an athlete and adventurer he is also the founder of the Prospera Valley GranFondo in Vancouver BC as well as We Walk for Water in Ethiopia. Jeffrey was also the chairperson of the Tour of Alberta.

Jeffrey was recently awarded Avenue Magazine's Top 40 Under 40 in the business and growth category for his unique contribution to city building in Edmonton. He is widely recognized as someone who simply takes action. As an advocate at heart Jeffrey is someone who gets very involved in what he is passionate about. During his career in Western Canada he has started ten organizations all with the central purpose of making where he lived better.

Catherine Vu

Founder of Pro-Active IT, a recognized force within the Alberta IT community, which participated in a special Silicon Valley development project in 2012. Building on a foundation of best-in-class practices, technical expertise and responsive customer service with integrity, Pro-Active IT has grown from humble roots into thriving, customer-centric, computer solutions company with customers who are raving fans. Catherine believes in 'paying it forward' and is dedicated to Alberta Easter Seals, Winnifred Stewart Association, Suit Yourself, Stollery Women Networks, and 1000 Women to name a few. Catherine's philanthropic work raises tens of thousands of dollars annually in the community and she is proud to be also one of the 22 founding mentors of U of A Venture Mentoring Services (UA VMS).

Colin Christensen
Founder of THNQ, Colin's kaizen mindset stretches through business, life, family, relationships, philosophy, technology and more. His focus are entrepreneurs from startups to $20M builds. He is also launching a pilot project for microlending and entrepreneur development in Central America; building a construction incubator/accelerator; and reinventing drywall. He refuses to accept the status quo. Having started, sold, failed, grown, and invested in businesses over the last 20+ years, Colin curated a freely accessible model called The Whole Entrepreneur - designed to help start ups and entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. As an advocate of entrepreneurship, Colin is a part of the Rainforest initiative in Alberta, several mentoring groups, supporting the development of entrepreneurs globally through HOPE Worldwide and his class on innovation and entrepreneurship is one of the most sought-after programs for school-age kids through the Career Pathways at the EPSB.

Kevin MacDonald, CMA

Founder and business consultant at L6S Business Consulting, L6S Business Consulting helps business owners with strategy and business model development, business planning, and increasing operational efficiencies. Kevin has worked in various industries, including Manufacturing and the Oil and Gas Service Sectors. Over Kevin's career, he has taken on various roles which has allowed him to lead the IT, Human Resources, Logistics, and Accounting departments of various companies.

Kevin MacDonald has his CMA designation along with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. Kevin has worked for himself at L6S Business Consulting for over 8 years. Over that time, he successfully helped grow a professional service company from $900 to $17,000 in revenue per month over one year. He lead the effort to find $400,000 in uneeded annual expenses at a government related organization. Kevin's diverse knowledge of business has helped him give entrepreneurs a 'hat trick' of increasing revenue, increasing margins, and fully understanding what is going on in their business. He is also the Treasurer of the Edmonton Business Association and for his condo board, Chair of the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of Alberta Society, and a frequent volunteer for the Fringe Festival.
