Description

Join us at the Vernon Public Art Gallery for a guided tour of all 4 of our current exhibitions. We will start with the immersive and hands-on music and sound exhibition, Perfect Music: High Voltage where participants are able to make their own music and sound in a variety of creative ways put together by Alisdair MacRae & Patrick Lacasse. Then we will check out Stellar by local artist Destanne Norris, this exhibition is composed of large scale oil paintings featuring imagery from the Hubble Space telescope. Then discover the Old Stories of the Sylix People in Ancestors of the Columbia by Sheldon Louis. Lastly, take in the Breastfeeding Art Expo, a multi-media collaborative community project featuring artists and community members from across the Interior Health region who work to explore the topic of breastfeeding, through art.
