Learn to identify discrimination, racism, and hate as well as where to document and report.
About this event
As a frontline service provider, clients you serve may experience hate, racism and discrimination; but how do you recognize it and identify how to best support these community members?
This workshop for frontline service providers will provide simple tools to help you identify discrimination, racism, and hate as well as understand where to document and report.
In order to confront the realities of hate, it is important that helpers in community work to acknowledge the experiences and hurt that hate causes, to understand what we can do to help, and how we can ensure people have access to remedy.
