Can you write a Resume that stands out? Are you convincing employers to interview you?
Employers usually receive numerous applications for a single job position, making it hard for you to be noticed. Unless they realize "immediately" that your skills match their needs, you won’t even make it to the short list. The objective of this workshop is to prepare you to overcome this barrier by teaching you how to write an effective resume, one that stands out and gives you a better chance of being hired.
This workshop will provide you with useful knowledge. Your instructor will discuss the common mistakes applicants make, and the right formats and wording to be used in the message to the employer. She will cover the previous steps you need to take, like researching and understanding the requirements of a specific job position. In this workshop, you can also learn how to redact a cover letter that carries a convincing speech, one that impresses the employer and drives his-her interest in reading your resume and learning more about your skills.
