A workshop for UBC Grad students on how to strengthen and polish their application to the Sustainability Scholars Program.
About this event
This workshop will support prospective Sustainability Scholars to craft a strong application to the program. Students who plan to apply to the Sustainability Scholars Program are encouraged to attend.
Danielle Barkley, a career educator at UBC who specializes in supporting Masters and PhD students, will provide strategies and advice for developing a strong resume and cover letter. Karen Taylor, Manager of the Sustainability Scholars Program, will provide her perspective on the application and selection process, as well as common dos and don’ts.
This event focuses on strengthening your application materials. Those interested in knowing more about the Sustainability Scholars Program should review the information provided on the Sustainability Scholars Program website, particularly the "How it Works" and the "Apply" pages.
