A workshop for UBC Grad students on how to strengthen and polish their application to the Sustainability Scholars Program.

About this Event

This workshop will support prospective Sustainability Scholars to craft a strong application to the program.

Danielle Barkley, a career educator at UBC who specializes in supporting Masters and PhD students, will provide strategies and advice for developing a strong resume and cover letter. Karen Taylor, Manager of the Sustainability Scholars Program, will provide her perspective on the application and selection process, as well as common dos and don’ts.

Students who plan to apply to the Sustainability Scholars Program are encouraged to attend.

January 27, 2020, 4:00 – 5:30 pm

CIRS Building, BC Hydro Theatre (main floor, 2260 West Mall)

This event focuses on strengthening your application materials. Those interested in knowing more about the Sustainability Scholars Program should attend the information session on January 13, 2020.
