Rethinking Health Data: Targeted Approaches to Bone and Joint Health
Event Information
About this event
From disruption of healthcare to delayed surgeries to fitness decline, the bone and joint health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic are not yet known. And it is highly unlikely the cumulative effects will be able to be quantified. What can be done to address the priority challenges facing musculoskeletal health?
Join the Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute online on February 23, 2021 from 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. MST for our online Annual General Meeting, with a focus on data-powered solutions for bone and joint health care.
In the context of our 2020 activities, the event will explore:
- Challenges facing the access, quality, and long-term planning of bone and joint health resources
- Compelling opportunities for multifaceted health analytics in the management of musculoskeletal conditions
- A data-driven strategy to begin tackling preventive care, personalized medicine and a holistic view of bone and joint health
The event is open to the public, pre-registration is required. The event will conclude with a Question & Answer period.
