Retreat, Renew and Give Thanks

Program Description

Come to the Centre for a time of sacred retreat, renewal and giving thanks. As a group and individually, we’ll experience a range of spiritual practices to explore and deepen our connection with the Divine. Through Art, prayer, writing and ritual, time indoors and out, we’ll create a nurturing, gentle rhythm to our days. Closing our time with the practice of gratitude, we’ll prepare and enjoy a thanksgiving feast together!

Program Logistics

Duration: 6 full days, Saturday evening to Friday afternoon

Ages: Adults

Accommodations: Participants who wish to stay at Naramata Centre while attending the program can book indoor accommodation or a campsite for the week of October 8-15. For more information on accommodation rentals and pricing, click here.

Program Leader

Allison Rennie
Allison Rennie is passionate about nurturing the spirituality of people all ages. An inspiring teacher and facilitator, storyteller and listener, she loves a good mystery, a great movie, a fresh loaf of bread, a moment of learning, a good question, big work and a deep conversation! A former Program Director at Naramata Centre, Allison has led retreats, and offered her diverse gifts in leadership and worship in church and community settings for the past several years. She recently completed a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing.

Cancellation Policy

Should a participant wish to withdraw from a registered program, they can do so with a full refund up to 30 days prior to their program start date. Program cancellations less than 30 days before the program start date are not refundable.

The Naramata Centre Society reserves the right to cancel programs should attendance not meet required minimums for financial viability. Should a program be canceled, participants will be notified more than 30 days before program start time and their program fees will be fully refunded.
