About this event
Join us for a breathwork journey to bring your mind & body into balance and reconnect to yourself.
It’s no secret that most of us struggle with the everyday pressures of life. We’re living in an age
where we’re busier than ever and because we’re disconnected from our bodies, it’s easy for us to become buried in feelings and emotions that we don’t know how to deal with or process. For many of us, the norm is feeling constantly stressed, anxious, worried, and overwhelmed. Breathwork allows us to be still, be with ourselves, and breathe and feel through our experiences. We were given the tool of breath since birth, but most people are unaware of how powerful and transformational the breath can be.
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is an active meditation that uses continual breath to break down emotions in the body that are stagnant and create havoc on our energetic systems. Breathwork is a practice of allowing our systems to see a different perspective where we feel deeply connected to our bodies and understand and experience the intelligence contained within our systems. Breathwork is a way to heal, release, and transform.

What to bring:
• yoga mat
• blanket
• pillow/bolster (we want you to be comfortable, a portion of class we’ll be lying down)
• eye mask (optional)
• journal & pen
• water bottle
• anything else you feel guided to bring (crystals, etc.)
• an open mind and heart

Katelyn McJunkin & Leslie Bendig are certified Pause Breathwork facilitators.
With a passion for breath and wellness, they’ve joined together to bring you an intimate breathwork experience to help you shed layers of what’s been holding you back and reconnect to yourself.

While breathwork is a powerful healing modality, this may not be for you if you are pregnant or have any of the following conditions:
- Detached Retina
- Glaucoma
- High Blood Pressure (not controlled with medication)
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Uncontrolled Thyroid Conditions
- Diagnosis of aneurysm (brain or abdomen)
- Asthma (if you are asthmatic, have your inhaler with you)
- Prior Diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or previous psychiatric condition
- Any other physical or psychiatric conditions that would affect your ability to engage in activities that involve intense physical and/or emotional release
