Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary Open House 2016
Event Information
Description
Hello!
Drop in on Saturday, June 18, anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., for the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary's annual Open House. There will be indoor sanctuary tours (with one-way viewing windows) where you can see wildlife being fed, a silent auction, bake sale, barbeque and drinks, kids' activities, photo booth and more.
Back by popular demand, Grateful We're Not Dead will perform country tunes with a social conscience.
Donations and items from our wish list are greatly appreciated, including gently used baby receiving blankets, towels, fleece, pillow cases (no blankets please), striped sunflower seeds, dry dog kibble, facial tissues, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, and liquid hand sanitizer.
Do your Father's Day shopping at the silent auction, which runs from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
While we love all animals, please leave your pets at home.
The sanctuary is located at 3370 Mulholland Rd, North Gower. It is about 45 minutes from downtown Ottawa. There will likely be a long line up of parking but we have golf cars to pick you up and take you to the entrance. If you have special needs, please drive right up to the entrance and we will assist you.
We are looking forward to seeing you on June 18!
