Description

This weekend workshop will cover everything you need to know to start weaving beautiful handwoven fabrics on a rigid heddle loom. Participants will learn the basics of dressing the loom appropriately for a project. Several different weave structures will be explored while students create a unique sampler scarf. Participants will leave this class with a beautiful handwoven scarf and the skills needed to start making place mats, shawls, clothing and more! Bring your rigid heddle loom with you or borrow one from the guild with a damage deposit.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own materials.

May 26th- 1:30 to 5:30 pm
May 27h- 12:30 to 5:30 pm

Registration for this class will end on May 11, 2018 (2 weeks before the start date)
