Winter and spring rides will feature 50-70 km routes in the Vancouver Greater Area. Winter and Spring rides are designed to be completed by riders in a continuous fashion, and will feature no "rest breaks". Riders should expect an average riding pace of 25-28km/h during the winter and spring season.

"Summer rides" are scheduled to begin in early May.

In the spirit of developing an effective member experience, registration for our rides will be limited to a maximum of 12.

Ride Etiquette

  1. Our rides are predicated on safety. The safety of yourself, other riders and road users. Riders must obey all road signals and signal. A short safety briefing will be given prior to all rides.
  2. For the safety of all riders, your bike must be set up in a traditional road position.
  3. Registration via Eventbrite will be required for all rides.
  4. Rides leave at 7:00 AM sharp.
  5. Full fenders are required for winter/spring rides.
  6. Respect -for yourself, club members and other road users.

FAQs

Are club rides free?

Yes, and they always will be.

I noticed rides aren't scheduled every weekend... What gives?

This is one of the concepts we are testing. The philosophy behind the gaps is to encourage you to develop a sustainable and healthy relationship towards club riding. You know..balance! We believe that cycling should be a part of your life - not take it over.

Is there an opportunity to become further involved with Riley Park?

Of course. We are new so it's the perfect time to get involved. Drop us a line - rileyparkcc@gmail.com

I am a triathlete - What's the scoop?

You can definitely ride with us. The one condition is that you have a bike that allows you to ride in a traditional road position.

Does Riley Park have a website where I can find out more information?

No, not at this time.

What do I need to bring on a ride?

All riders should carry hydration, nutrition, and a spare tube.

Do you ride rain or shine?

We ride rain or shine. As long as it's not snowing, we are a go.
