About this Event

An outdoor, grazing management event for cattle producers looking to assess and utilize riparian pastures. Presenters from Cows & Fish will guide participants along a natural creek riparian zone pasture discussing the basics of range pasture health assessments and the steps to best manage these sensitive zones from a grazing perspective. All participants will receive an information package containing valuable hard copy resources to aid in range health assessments and plant identification.

Pre-registration is required, space is limited. Participants are asked to dress for the weather and for light hiking. As this is a remote, outdoor event there will not be any available washroom facilities.

Should you feel unwell, have traveled outside of the country within 14 days of the event or come in contact with a positive case of Covid-19 we ask that you not attend this event. Mask wearing at this event is mandatory, and disposable masks and hand sanitizer will be available. The safety of participants and staff is our utmost priority.

This event is a partnership between Kneehill County, Cows & Fish, And Foothills Forage and Grazing Association.
