Event Details

Roads Rails Runways is a one-of-a-kind international export series being held in downtown Edmonton, with four series events taking place from summer 2017 to early 2018. The rapid-fire conference format will be packed with advice, insights, and practical guidance from our experts and speakers. The conference sessions will be both informative and highly actionable. Companies will leave with ideas for clear steps forward in their export programs.

→ WHAT IS ON THE AGENDA?

This second session of our series, "Choosing a Market - Trends, Drivers, and Actions", will be an informative workshop-style session with guest speaker Maxwell Luthy, Director of Trends and Insights at Trendwatching Inc. The co-author of Trend-Driven Innovation, Maxwell has delivered innovation workshops to such leading brands as Samsung, Google, and 3M.

This half-day workshop session will engage participants in the crucial areas of business growth and export: choosing a market, and learning to identify emerging global industry trends and drivers.

Alongside a dynamic morning of learning from world-class trend-watching experts, participants will also receive a free workbook to take home, "Trend-Driven Innovation", co-authored by our presenting speaker and other business and industry experts.

→ WHO IS THIS FOR?

Individuals, businesses - start-ups, scale-ups, Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs).  Those involved in product development, business development, marketing, sales, design and innovation will be able to walk away with Trend knowledge and useful tools.

→ INVEST A HALF-DAY WITH US AND GET A HEAD START ON EXPORT

If you’re looking to move into a new market, streamline your processes, reduce costs, or connect with new suppliers, Roads Rails Runways will give you a head start toward accomplishing all of these goals.
