Event description

Description

Homeschoolers are invited to a tour of the Royal Oak Fire Hall. Fire station tours are an opportunity to see and learn about modern firefighting equipment, including our fire trucks, and ask those questions you’ve always wanted to.

Where: Royal Oak Fire Hall

When: Tuesday, March 12, 2019

Time: 2:00pm

Cost: Free

Ages: Open to all ages. (But tour is recommended for ages 6-9)

Registration Deadline:

Maximum 30 people

This is a family friendly event, but no strollers please. Parents must attend with their children and need to stay on site at all times.

All Fire Stations are operational facilities, and our emergency services work always comes first. Firefighters may be called away from the station at any time during your scheduled tour. If this happens, your tour will be cancelled and the Fire Station must be vacated immediately.

Ensure your mode of transportation stays on site at all times in case the tour needs to be cancelled due to an emergency call. If anyone has special needs, please contact Tammy Eacott as we need to let the Fire hall know prior to fieldtrip date.
