About this event

The Rose Gellert Quartet will open their 2022-23 season, Transcending Genres, with two masterworks of the chamber music repertoire. Haydn’s “Horseman” Quartet in G Minor, Hob. III:74, Op.74 No.3 is a fun, exciting entry in the classical canon. Rounding out the program will be Schubert’s String Quintet in C Major, Op. 163. One of the most sublime examples of musical romanticism, the piece features the unusual addition of a second cellist. The RGSQ is honoured to welcome Joel Stobbe as a guest cellist, and is excited for this opportunity to collaborate with such a dynamic and expressive chamber musician. This concert is the first of the "Transcending Genres" series.

The concert will be performed in the intimate setting of the Rose Gellert Hall.

Single Tickets: Adult $22 / Senior $20 / Student $10 / LCMS Students Free!
