Rosen Day

The Queen's University Department of Ophthalmology is excited to present the 15th Annual Rosen Day Symposium on Uveitis.


This year's lineup of world class speakers Jean Deschênes, Nida Sen, and Marc de Smet, along with program faculty Todd Urton will spend the day discussing the latest in diagnosing, treating, and managing uveitis, and offer an insightful glimpse into emerging treatments in the field.


Highlights in the program include Ocular Manifestations of Systemic Disease, Multimodal Imaging in Uveitis, and Robotics in Retinal Disease.

Other topics will include masquerade syndromes, management of uveitic macular edema, a survey of treatments past, present, and future for uveitis, microbiome considerations, and handling uveitis in children, or in the context of cataract surgery .

Yes, this event has been accredited for for the following.

Credits for Specialists: This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by Queen’s University Office of CPD. You may claim a maximum of 6 hours (credits are automatically calculated).

Credits for COC Members: This event has earned the following number of Continuing Education (CE) credits: The Canadian Orthoptic Council (3.0 Core Credits and 2.2 Non Core Credits).

Credits for Others: This is an accredited learning activity which provides up to 6 hours of Continuing Education

What's the refund policy?

You can get a full refund from this website up to seven (7) days in advance of the event. Up until two (2) days prior to the event, you can receive a full refund by contacting RosenRegistration@queensu.ca, however the refund will take approximately two weeks to process, and will not include refund of the service fee. Cancellations within the last 48 hours are subject to a $75 fee covering per-person expenses which can no longer be refunded.


When are tickets on sale?

Tickets for this event can be bought any time up until the Sunday immediately before the event (Sunday 19 May, 2019). After that time, you may contact us directly to inquire about being placed on a waiting list should any cancellations occur.
