Rotaract 50th Anniversary Celebration
Event Information
Description
50 years is a long time and deserves celebration! Our District 5040 Rotaract Clubs want to invite you to join us for an evening of dinner, dancing, and fun!
What is Rotaract?
We are a group of young people aged 18-30(ish) who make a difference in our communities, have fun, and create meaningful relationships through volunteer work, fundraisers, and socials! Rotaract is a partner of Rotary International. We have 8 active Rotaract Clubs in Rotary District 5040.
During the evening we will showcase our Rotaract District's projects - past, present, and future. We will also take the opportunity to install all of the Rotaract Clubs' Presidents as well as the new District Rotaract Representative (DRR) and District Committee for 2018/2019.
This year's district project is to raise awareness and funds for the End Polio campaign. Our celebration will hold the dual purpose of fundraising for this worthy campaign.
Not familiar with the End Polio campaign?
Eradication of polio is one of Rotary’s longest standing and most significant efforts. Rotary and its partners have immunized more than 2.5 billion children against polio across 122 countries. To date, this effort has helped to reduce polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide. We are this close to a Polio-free world!
Have something to contribute to our silent auction?
