FAQs

What can I bring to the event?

  • Please bring a reusable water bottle with you to the planting event.
  • It may be helpful to bring a towel, an extra pair of socks to change into after planting and some clean shoes for the car ride home.
  • All planting equipment will be provided, but if you have a favourite pair of gardening gloves, feel free to bring them!

What can I wear to the event?

It is highly recommended that everyone wear appropriate footwear and outdoor attire. Spring weather in April is variable, so please dress for the weather that morning. Sturdy footwear such as hiking boots and rainboots are the best when planting trees. It is also a good idea to dress in layers as well. If you have rain/splash pants, this can help keep your pants clean and dry.
