BY INVITATION ONLY

Roundtable on Housing and Homelessness issues for Vulnerable Communities on July 6

You will be aware that the recent federal budget set aside funds for housing and homelessness and made special mention of the needs of vulnerable communities. You are invited to be part of this discussion that we expect will help shape the federal policy in this area.

The meeting will begin with keynote comments by MP Adam Vaughan who is Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Families, Children and Social Development, with special responsibility for Housing and Urban Affairs. Since his days at Toronto City Hall he has been an articulate advocate for improvement in these areas. We are also inviting provincial and municipal representatives to speak - updates will be noted in the days ahead.

This event is co-hosted this with Reena and the location will be:

Reena Community Residence, 49 Lebovic Campus Drive, Vaughan, Ontario. MAP

The program will be as follows:

12:30 to 2:00 pm Lunch and Keynote Speeches

2:00 to 4:00 pm Roundtable discussion with an opening panel

4:00 to 4:30 pm Networking

To get on the invitaiton list contact us at info@thepearsoncentre.ca, and provide a short note about your interest in the issue. We will do our best to accommodate you as space is limited.
