COME AND CELEBRATE THE 80th ANNIVERSARY OF OUR OUTSTANDING CORPS: RCSCC ADMIRAL MOUNTBATTEN.

Founded in 1943, the Admiral Mountbatten Sea Cadet Corps has seen more than 4000 youth pass through the ranks over it's 80 years. Come home to Sudbury Thanksgiving Weekend 2023 and take part in what is sure to be our finest reunion yet!

Doors will open at 1800 for registration.

Friday night is sure to be a great warm up for a spectacular weekend. Branch 76 Legion sits on a bluff overlooking our splendid Lake Ramsey.

Saturday, October 7th

RCSCC Admiral Mountbaten/Alumni meets the Deputy Commander, Royal Canadian Navy (Morning - timings TBC)

RCSCC Admiral Mountbatten and Mountbatten Alumni will be welcoming our Guest Speaker, Rear-Admiral S.M. Waddell, MSM, CD. Activity/Location/Time to be communicated once finalized.

Remembrance Reflection - Memorial Park 1300hrs to 1330hrs

The Alumni Ship's Company will fall in at the Naval Monument/Cenotaph at Memorial Park, downtown Sudbury to honour the memory of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice on land, in the air and at sea.

Gala Dinner and Dance

Northbury Hotel - 50 Brady Street.1630hrs - Cocktails  | 1800hrs – Dinner

Dress - Semi Formal/Formal | Ages: 19 and up

The doors will open at 1600hrs for registration; with cocktails starting at 1630.

Highlights of the evening will include our Alumni Ship's Company being addressed by the Deputy Commander, Royal Canadian Navy, Rear-Admiral Steven Waddell.

A sit down 4 course meal will be served with complimentary wine.

Followed by a performance from our very own Mountbatten Alumni Band. Then dancing and socializing the night away.

Memorabilia displays, silent auction and 50/50 draw will be available

Sunday, October 8th

Family Fundraising Lunch and Farewell

Bring the whole family out to the Sudbury Armoury for a fundraising lunch from 11:00 to 15:00 hours. (not included in price of ticket). Support the Corps by purchasing lunch as you bid fare winds and following seas to your shipmates.
