Description

Ryerson University Accounting Society's 12th Annual Alumni Gala!
Join us for a fantastic night at the wonderful Delta Toronto Hotel for RUAS' 12th Annual Alumni Gala. This event is held to show our appreciation to all Ryerson alumni and an opportunity to connect with current Ryerson students.

For current Ryerson students, this is a great opportunity to network with Ryerson alumni, who are all successful in their respective fields of business. Don't forget to bring
business cards, as this is a great opportunity to build your professional network and possibly lead to a job opportunity!

This year we are thrilled to annouce our keynote speaker will be Daphna Smuckler- Service line leader of Assurance and Accounting for BDO Canada. She will be RUAS' first female keynote speaker, and we cannot wait for her presentation. Also included is a three course dinner, an award ceremony to honour alumni and faculty for their outstanding achievements, a raffle for a chance to win great prizes and lively entertainment.

The Delta Toronto Hotel SocoBallroom is located at 75 Lower Simceo Street on the 3rd floor. Access can also be gained through the Skywalk at Union station, just before the exit for the Rogers Center.

Dress Code: Business Formal

For those who would like a vegetarian meal please purchase the vegetarian ticket. If there are any other dietary requirements please email Alexander Molella at alexander.molella@ryerson.ca a minimum of 1 week before the event.

There will be no refunds issued within one week of the event do to dinner orders being processed. If there are any conerns related to refunds please contact Alex Molella @ alexander.molella@ryerson.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?


Yes, please bring proof of purchase, which can be a printed ticket or the Eventbrite app on your phone.


Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?


The event will have a cash bar available to the guests, so please have Government ID available.


What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?


The hotel can be access through the Skywalk at Union station, or by car.
The hotel has on site parking service with a fee of:


- $12 hourly, $35 daily – no in/out
- Valet parking – day/overnight is $48 – in/out privileges

Other options available include:


- Simcoe Place Express Park: 207 Wellington St. W
- Standard Parking: 18 York St.
- MTCC South Parking: Lower Simceo St.
