Ruby's Ukes presents a Ukulele Course Extraordinaire with Guido Heistek at the helm that takes places weekly in a beautiful downtown Heritage Building - learning a swing, jazz, blues, & folk repertoire.
Register for our10 week Ukulele course:
on Wednesday evenings ~ starting September 18th 2013:
Time: Intermeidate & Advanced level at 8pm - 9.30pm (NEW two level class)
Cost:$180
Place: The Seymour Building, 525 Seymour Street, Vancouver V6G 2P9.
The classes are a weekly 90 minute session and will leave you smiling and a whole lot smarter!
In this course is a combined level of intermediate and advanced.
This course is perfect for people who have been playing for a while, know their chords, and can read tablature who want to take their Ukulele playing to the next level. We are starting something new and this class will now have two levels in one class, advanced and intermediate.
for intermediate players this course for those who would like to improve their chord vocabulary, strum patterns,tablature reading, moveable chords and who want to continue evolving their Ukulele playing.
For the advanced players (a much smaller number) you will learn moveable chord and scale shapes, more advanced strum patterns, how to solo and ensemble playing!
Ukuleles will be available to borrow FREE during the class at the School. Kala or Emus Ukuleles are for sale (prices range from $37 - $250) as well as Ukulele tuners, bags, Uke stands & straps and The Vancouver Ukulele Circle Song book! We also have some Kala U-basses for sale as well as some higher end Ukuleles.
We have a resident luthier who is available to fit strap buttons on your Ukulele, change strings or do any repairs or modifications you may require. The Kala brand we are delighted with for their great sweet sound and reasonable price.
All you need to take your Ukulele playing to the next level!
