DAI BURGER
Dai Burger is a rapper / singer from Queens, New York best known for her 2014 mixtape “IN YA MOUF” consisting primarily of Jersey Club and Bass music and featured her celebrated track Soufflé. Dai’s cavalier attitude towards sexuality has made her a champion of the NYC gay community, earning her features in Pitchfork and at MoMaPS1 alongside her partner-in-crime and longtime friend, Junglepussy. Before creating her own music, Dai toured with Chris Brown and Lil Mama as a backup dancer, allowing her to heavily incorporate dance into her live show.

VAUGHAN
DJ Vaughan is a Toronto-based DJ, inspired by Bass, Grime, Ballroom and Jersey Club. As a queer Black woman, she recognizes that all spaces are political and strives to make party scenes more inclusive, by amplifying womyn and trans BIPOCs. Her mixes embody great range, incorporating complex blends and drops, while always maintaining the groove. You can find around the city, partnering with events such as ROM: FNL, Pride Blockorama, and Smiling Buddha. DJ’ing for over 6 years, her name has become synonymous with all things #CLUB, as she shared the decks with some of the best in Toronto.

The RUDE Collective:
RUDE reclaims space, highlights racialised queer artists and artwork and aims to constantly de-center oppressive structures while creating immersive artistic experiences.
Through these processes and by prioritising marginalised queer people, we hope to create environments where there is room to explore our multiple identities, and share important narratives through artistic expression.

The RUDE Collective thanks and acknowledges the land on which we live and work, which is the territory of the Huron-Wendat and Petun First Nations, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River.

Join us for the Rudeness!!
#TheRudeCollective

While we aim to create and curate spaces where racialised queers can exist, we acknowledge that we will always have learning to do and things to improve on and welcome criticisms and comments.

*********************************************************************************
The RUDE Collective does not tolerate any racist, sexist, homophobic, ableist, or transphobic comments on our page and event and those who do so will be banned.
