RYERSON DEMOCRACY FORUM: How the Ontario Election was Won
Date and time
Description
How did the Progressive Conservatives win a majority government? Did youth voters play a decisive role, and what were the major issues? The top campaign strategists from Ontario’s four main parties will talk about how they motivated voters—and outmanoeuvred each other—in the election that changed Ontario. Featured speakers: Kory Teneycke (PC), Michael Balagus (NDP), David Herle (Liberal) and Becky Smit (Green). The panel will be moderated by Martin Regg Cohn, Toronto Star columnist and a distinguished visiting professor, and is sponsored by the Faculty of Arts.
