The Ryerson MBA provides students with many opportunities to learn from leading figures in Canadian corporate and public life. Dr. Asher Alkoby’s class in "Regulation, Government and Socially Responsible Management" hosts a guest lecture series – organized by Ralph Lean (Counsel, Heenan Blaikie), one of Canada’s most renowned business lawyers – where senior executives and government officials discuss CSR with Ryerson MBA students.

Speaker Bio:

Mr. Jordan Banks is the managing director of Facebook Canada, responsible for leading and managing all of Facebook’s commercial operations in Canada. Previously, Jordan was the managing partner at Thunder Road Capital, which he co-founded to provide investment and advisory services to early stage technology companies across North America. Jordan was also the chief executive officer of publicly traded JumpTV, a leading broadcaster of sports and international television over the Internet.
